I bought a CD/DVD/VHS storage thing to-day and decided to put it together before dinner. The base wasn't a problem, but after I put in the four side-column things (screws and all), I realised that the holes for the dowels to attach the second level were on the wrong side (or so I thought). The way I had the columns in, the holes were on the outside, not the inside as they were supposed to be. Naturally, this presented a problem. I went downstairs to help my dad make the lasagna, then returned to disassemble my not-even-yet-half-assembled storage thing (while being grrful to the company for putting the holes on the wrong side). As I was trying to see how the second level *would* have worked, I dropped one of the columns. Picking it up, I realised that I had been attempting to put them in upside down (led by the direction of the lettered stickers). So there was really nothing wrong with the product--I was just doing it wrong. And of course I didn't realise this until I was almost done disassembling. Grr. Oh well, this means I don't have to go back, return it, get a new one, and find 'tis the same.
I still feel a bit foolish . . .
And I ♥ this song . . . and the soundtrack in general. :D

(and now I'm going to attempt properly constructing this thing)
