Yes, I am talking about myself in the subject--yay for speaking in third person and paraphrasing Shakespeare in the same sentence *pats self on back* Now I shall write about the weekend thus far:
Friday was quite spontaneous, really. I was actually very pleased with how my Genetics exam went (of course, this may change when I see what my grade is . . .) Dana and I randomly decided to watch one of her old Disney movies in the afternoon, and we picked 101 Dalmations (the original cartoon) . . . we went to dinner at Encore with Benny, Richie, Sarah, and Kristin C. (after I set up our VCR to record Kate & Leopold *sigh*) . . . then we got Sylvia and went to see the hypnotist (which I hadn't been planning on doing at first) . . . while we were waiting for the hypnotist to start [ooh, look, I'm using stream-of-consciousness, but I just had a semi-random thought (not really, because I'm listening to PoA, but here it is--"A Window to the Past" from the PoA soundtrack is such a gorgeous song] Sylvia and I had a conversation about Phantom of the Opera (Sir ALW's version) stemming from my "rose & mask" Italian charm--we basically talked about the show and I told her she should read the original Leroux novel and Susan Kay's Phantom and I'd loan them to her if she wanted to . . . on to the hypnotist--he was more entertaining than the last one he had, but I didn't like some of the things he made the people do (including one which was many shades of wrong)--I was glad he didn't make Sarah do anything horribly embarassing (she had decided she wanted to be hypnotised), but then later we found out she'd just been pretending because it hadn't worked on her . . . for some strange reason, I was struck by a small bout of melancholy as we were leaving and walking across campus . . . Dana and I then went to North and hung out in Sarah and Em's room. . .like Little Lotte, I really let my mind wander--I was lying on Sarah's bed daydreaming until the three of us went to Benny and Richie's room to play spoons, and I didn't really get back to reality until we'd been in their room for about 5 minutes . . . Benny was doing something on his computer, so Sarah, Richie, Dana, Kristin, and I played a rousing game of spoons (with one plastic one because they only had 3 metal ones). After we were finished (Dana ended up winning), we sat for about half an hour alternatively talking and trying to figure out what to do next . . . at around 12:30, we drove to Wal*Mart because Richie wanted to get the Trivial Pursuit 90's game--instead, we just randomly walked down various aisles (and Sarah pushed all the buttons on the singing CareBears) . . . we then went back to North and Dana and I watched this week's episode of "Smallville" (taped from whichever day 'twas actually aired) with Emily--I'd never seen the show before, and I must say it was pretty good (and now I know who that guy in one of your icons is, Rehta) . . . Dana and I finally went back to our dorm at around 2, and it was so foggy it was as if we were walking through clouds--rather nifty, actually--and even though it was so cloudy, we could still see the Moon :D *huggles Moon*
Saturday, I spent finishing writing the procedure for the last lab we did in O.Chem in my lab notebook (because I was working by myself during lab and was running behind) and starting the report . . . I made myself a yummy PBJ sandwich with the jam Erin brought me after break (thanks, Erin!) . . . we had an emergency Gospel Choir rehearsal at 8ish in the Scholars' House, wherein we learned a new song . . . after rehearsal, I went to Encore to grab some dinner, then went back to my dorm to eat it. Since everyone else was at Casino night, I watched Kate & Leopold as I ate my dinner--I'd forgotten how much I love that movie and I think I might have to buy that one (I love the song during the end credits, and TV stations always to grrful things during credits . . . *grrs them*) . . . I want to go back to the Victorian Era . . . and chivalry needs to return . . . *sigh*
I haven't really done much today--Gospel Choir sang the song we learned yesterday (I think it's called something along the lines of "I Need You, You Need Me:) at the BSU church service--the service focused mostly on the Civil Rights movement of the 60's and how it applies to us today . . . then we all went to "brunch" at the caf.--'twas noonish, but the caf serves breakfast-y things at lunchtime on weekends . . . I had a bagel with strawberry cream cheese--yum!
(and the melancholy-ness is probably from watching the movie yesterday . . . on a happier note, there's a lunar eclipse on Wed :D Guess how I'm going to spend that evening? I'll actually have a reason for staring at the moon . . . hehe)

[Does my lack of paragraph-ness bother anyone? Because I'll try to split up my entries better if it does.]
